DIY Nendoroid Mato and Yomi

Unofficial Nendoroid Kuroi Mato and Takanashi Yomi
So you were asking, “Why does GSC release Mato and Yomi as Petit instead of normal-sized Nendoroid?” when GSC published their WonFes-exclusive Nendoroid a few days ago? Well, this is the unofficial answer: it is possible to create them yourselves. Wait … what!?
Yep, apparently, Nendoroid Kuroi Mato and Takanashi Yomi are possible to be created by mix-and-matching Nendoroid bodies, heads, and other parts. Here are some rough configuration for Mato and Yomi:
- (Unofficial) Nendoroid Kuroi Mato
Head: Nendoroid Black Rock Shooter
Face: Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Racing Miku 2010 Edition
Body: Nendoroid Takane Manaka/Nendoroid Kobayakawa Rinko/Nendoroid Anegasaki Nene - (Unofficial) Nendoroid Takanashi Yomi
Head: Nendoroid Dead Master
Face: Nendoroid Arch Bishop
Body: Nendoroid Takane Manaka/Nendoroid Kobayakawa Rinko/Nendoroid Anegasaki Nene
I don’t know where their schoolbags come from though. What do you think, Nendonesian? ^^
Note: I just thought of an idea … what do you say if we post an article about mix-and-matching Nendoroid parts like this one periodically? ^^
What Happened to This Version of Nendoroid Hatsune Miku HMO?

Prototype of Nendoroid Hatsune Miku HMO?
Note: Feel free to skip this post, as it is simply a flashback-post which crossed my mind just now. ^^
I remembered back then, when these pics of Nendoroid Hatsune Miku (HMO/Pawlab Studio Edition) leaked just a few days prior to Summer WonFes 2010. Is this one a fan-made Nendoroid or merely a prototype to the upcoming Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Absolute HMO Edition? Personally, I see that cute Miku-chan really deserves to be an original release, thus I secretly hope to see her making an appearance in the upcoming Winter Wonfes 2011.
What do you think, Nendonesian? ^^
Nendonesia Surabaya 2nd Gathering Report
Nendonesia Surabaya 2nd Gathering was held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Grand City Mall, Surabaya. Initially, the gathering was scheduled to start on 2PM, but we waited for some fellow Nendonesians to arrive before starting up – it was an informal event after all. ^^
Anyway, the gathering participants were not as much as our first Surabaya gathering though due to the unpredictable weather and other sudden businesses. Nendonesia’s partner, rendoroid, could not attend the gathering as well, so there was no auction (and less fun). ^^;
Well then, go on past the break for the full report.

Nendoroid Petit B.G.M Set vol.0
Yep, this Petit set is finally official, thanks to Mikatan’s preview blog post. Nendoroid Petit B.G.M Set vol.0 was originally announced back then on late December – sans the volume postfix. This Petit set consists of:

- Shiino Kirari from Kira☆Kira
- Watarai Asuka from Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai
According to Mikatan, this Petit set will be available for pre-order starting tomorrow. While there are no mention of both pricing and release date, I believe that it would be priced at 3500 Yen and scheduled for release on April 2011 – just as mentioned in my post back then.
Are you getting these cute Petit heroines, Nendonesian? Kindly visit Mikatan’s blog for a gallery of adorable heroines in Petit-size. ^^
Note: Yep, I am aware of the “volume 0” postfix – they would release more sets like this one in the future. ^^

Nendoroid Petit Mato and Yomi Container Content

Container content
GSC president, Takanori Aki just tweeted that he has received the first batch sample of Nendoroid Petit Mato and Yomi set, which is scheduled to be sold at this February’s Winter WonFes. Yep, the pic above shows how this set’s container looks like – pretty minimalistic for 1500 Yen though, but hey, we do get a stage (road to school) as well.
Are you getting this cute pair of Petit, Nendonesian?
Nendonesia Photo Contest #1 Gallery

Nendonesia PhotoCon 1 entries
Nendonesia Photo Contest #1 submission period has been closed on January 11, 23:59 with a total of 63 photo entries submitted by Indonesia residents of Nendonesia. As promised, the gallery of submitted photos has been published and you can see them on either our Gallery page or this Flickr album.
Meanwhile, the photo evaluation is still not finished yet, but we think it should be done within the next 1-2 weeks. Stay tuned for the winner announcement soon, Nendonesian! ^^
Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Wonder Festival 13 Edition? (Updated)
A surprising image popped up on 2ch just now as it features Nendoroid Hatsune Miku with a special WonFes 13 stand base which are announced as participation prize for their photocon. While Miku’s face looks pretty similar to the original one, her arms and her legs looks unfamiliar to me.
Well, I have no idea whether this one is Photoshopped but personally, I do hope this Miku is real …. or not, says my wallet. ^^;
What do you think, Nendonesian?
UPDATE: Apparently this one looks more like Nendoroid Petit Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA version which was released as a bundle with the PSP game Project DIVA: Hatsune Miku. (Thanks to Singer_Yuna for the confirmation! My wallet is safe! ^^)
Nendoroid 122: Sherlock Shellinford (Sharo)
The cute detective from Tantei Opera Milky Holmes finally gets a review!! Yep, it is Nendoroid Sherlock Shellinford a.k.a Sharo a.k.a Sheryl, which is bundled as a limited edition pack with PSP game (and some other stuff). The set had been released back then on December 2010. ^^
OK, firstly I have a fun trivia about Sherlock’s name. Aside from having quite some aliases (Sharo, Syaro, Sheryl), her real/complete name is also slightly confusing. When I searched it on Google, her name turned out to be Sherlock Shellingford, but when I looked into her packaging box, her name is written as Sherlock Shellinford (notice the lack of ‘g‘ there). So, which one is her correct name? ^^
Note: For the remaining of this review, we are going to call her Sharo – short, simple, and sounds cute as well. ^^
WonFes 2011 Winter Exclusive Nendoroid Revealed!

Nendoroid Snow Miku: Snow Playtime Edition
This winter WonFes 2011 would be really interesting for us, as GSC has just posted their WonFes exclusive Nendoroid. First up is Nendoroid Snow Miku: Snow Playtime Edition, which has been announced several weeks ago. This new Snow Miku will bring three new adorable faces and a snowman with Hachune face as well.
GSC also put up some info about how to purchase this exclusive Nendoroid in the official page. Japanese could get her either by purchasing directly at GSC booth at Wonder Festival 2011 Winter (February 6, 2011) or 62nd Sapporo Festival (February 12, 2011). For the rest of us non-Japanese, an online web sales is also available at GSC Online Shop on February 7-13, 2011 and we could get her on June 2011. Oh, and she is priced at 4000 Yen. ^^

Nendoroid Makise Kurisu: White Coat Edition
Whoaa … another version of Makise Kurisu of Steins;Gate!? Yep, she is officially dubbed Nendoroid Makise Kurisu: White Coat Version, sold exclusively at GSC’s WonFes booth and GSC Online Shop for 3000 Yen. Brand three new-and-oh-so-cute faces of Makise Kurisu are present, along with her white lab coat. You could get her on February 2011 at WonFes 2011 Winter or June 2011 if we order her via GSC Online Shop. ^^

Nendoroid Petit Mato and Yomi set
For you Petit collectors, GSC also has a WonFes-exclusive product for you: Nendoroid Petit Mato and Yomi set from Black Rock Shooter. A partial street stage is also bundled in the set, so you can pose Kuroi Mato and Takanashi Yomi in their everyday scene on the way to school. This set is priced at 1500 Yen and will be available to purchase on GSC’s WonFes booth and via online sales (released on June 2011).
Personally, the new Snow Miku and Makise Kurisu are a must-get for me, so I am going to mark February 7-13 with special pen on my calendar. What about you, Nendonesian? ^^
