Yes, the pic you see above was taken directly from the Nendoroid Cafe which is supposed to open tomorrow at Good Smile Cafe. Apparently, the top shelf is used to display Nendoroid Plus plushies, while the other shelves are used to display regular Nendoroid. Now where do they display their collection of Nendoroid Petits? ^^

(I got a hunch that GSC might announce Nendoroid from DOG DAYS anytime during this Nendoroid Cafe is running …)

Scuffed paint on Miku's hair

Well, if you look at the pic above, you know that it might happen to our Nendoroid if they fell off from a certain height and hit their head. No worries! Mikatan has just posted an in-depth guide about how to fix the scuffed paint on Nendoroid in her latest DIY Figure Repair article series. Apparently, some tools are neccessary to follow the guide, i.e: masking tape, enamel solvent, enamel paints, top coat, brush, and dishes. In any case, simply visit Mikatan’s blog for further details about the guide.

So … have you ever had this kind of “scars” on your Nendoroid? How did you repair them? ^^

Note: The guide might serve as a basic guide on Nendoroid re-painting as well – what do you think? ^^

Initially, I thought that Nendoroid Jiei-tan: Air Force version would be delayed due to the recent tsunami-earthquake disaster in Japan. However, I was wrong … she was released just in time with her official release schedule: March 31. Well done, GSC and HobbyJapan! ^^

Unfortunately, I am still waiting for mine to be shipped though … and where is Nendoroid Army-san, by the way? ^^;

We already have Black Rock Shooter, OreImo, Bakuman, K-ON!, Hayate no Gotoku, and a couple of other anime series getting Nendoroid rendition of their characters. So … what’s next? Well, there is an upcoming anime titled DOG DAYS, which is seemingly supported by Good Smile Company. Mikatan has also mentioned in her blog that figures from this series has already being developed now. ^^

So … what is DOG DAYS? Well, I only know that the story revolves around a boy named Shinku who is summoned to an alternate world by Princess Millhiore to defend her country from the neighboring kingdom of Garrett (Wikipedia). The series will begin broadcasting on April 2 in Japan though, so you might want to check it out later. ^^

Well, what do you think about this future candidates to join the Nendoroid army? ^^
