Is This Nendoroid Suenaga Mirai’s Prototype?

Prototype of Nendoroid Suenaga Mirai?

Prototype of Nendoroid Suenaga Mirai?

So far, Danny Choo has already teased us several times in regards of the Nendoroid version of his famous Culture Japan mascot Suenaga Mirai. We have seen the Nendoroid design, the Itasha, but not the Nendoroid itself.

Well, it looks like Nendoroid Suenaga Mirai has finally decided to meet Mr. Blurry Cam in order to produce this blurry photo of her prototype, as you can see in the pic above.

Whether the pic is legit or not, well, I guess we will not have to wait too long for clarification as Summer WonFes is coming on July 29 – that’s exactly next week! XD

What do you think, Nendonesian? ^^

UPDATE: It looks like the pic was initially tweeted by Danny Choo himeself.

Nendoroid Hunter: Male Swordsman – Lagia X Edition is Officially Announced by Mikatan

Nendoroid Hunter: Male Swordsman - Lagia X Edition

Nendoroid Hunter: Male Swordsman – Lagia X Edition

We have already seen this Nendoroid got teased several times, and even the rumor of its availability (via an in-game event) had surfaced.

Well, all tidbits regarding Nendoroid Hunter: Male Swordsman – Lagia X Edition from the popular Nintendo 3DS game Monster Hunter 3G are finally cleared up, thanks to a preview session by Mikatan today.

First, if you noticed that the Nendoroid carries the “Edition” prefix on his name, and it means that he is a fully-posable Nendoroid, just like Nendoroid Saber: Super Movable Edition, Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Absolute HMO Edition, and the more recent Nendoroid Spider-Man: Hero’s Edition. ^^

Aside from the fully-posable joints, he will also bring his Lagia Blade, as the suit he wears is actually a Lagia X set.

… and that’s it. Yes, he will not have another set of expressions nor optional parts and accessories. The monsters are not included in the package as well – they are sold separately outside of GSC. XD

I guess the lack of optional expressions and parts/accessories are GSC’s effort to keep the price from inflating due to the unusual sculpting and the fully posable joints.

In any case, feel free to visit Mikatan’s blog for more pics and info about this Nendoroid. Oh, and this Nendoroid will be available for pre-order starting on July 24.

Nendoroid Haramura Nodoka will be The First Nendoroid from Saki?

Saki ad poster

Saki ad poster

An arguably popular Mahjong-themed anime Saki has finished its first season back then on 2009, and three years later it is back with a side-story anime titled Saki: Achiga-hen – Episode of Side-A.

So what’s in common between those two? Haramura Nodoka (a.k.a Nodocchi). She is one of the protagonists in the original series and returned as a supporting character in the side-story.

Considering her popularity in the series, it might be the reason why she is going to be the first characters from Saki to be made into Nendoroid.

Yep, as you can see in the pic above, a prototype of Nendoroid Haramura Nodoka is spotted along with some other Saki-related PR stuff.

Are there any of you thinking to get this Nendoroid? Have you watched the anime yet? XD

Danny Choo Posted Photos of Suenaga Mirai Mini-Itasha; Ready to Accompany the Nendoroid?

Suenaga Mirai mini-itasha

Suenaga Mirai mini-itasha

We have already seen an info card of Nendoroid Suenaga Mirai last month on AFA Malaysia, but there was no prototype back then. Fortunately, it looks like we won’t have to wait for long, as she is supposed to make her debut in the upcoming WonFes. How so?

Well, Danny Choo of Culture Japan has posted a few teaser pics of a mini Mirai Itasha that is supposed to accompany the Nendoroid. XD

Along with the pic, Danny left us the following note:

Danny Choo:
This Itasha will be displayed with a certain figure of Mirai Suenaga at this months Wonder Festival. Can you guess what figure series it will be?

Obviously, the majority of the commenters on the pic have “Nendoroid” as their answers for Danny’s question. XD

Nendoroid Takamachi Nanoha

Nendoroid Takamachi Nanoha

Since Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha: The MOVIE 2nd A’s premiers this week in Japan, I guess it is simply a perfect moment for GSC to unleash their upcoming Nanoha-related Nendoroid.

Yep, we have already seen a pair yesterday, and now a super-movable Nendoroid of Nanoha was spotted on the Japanese version of Mikatan’s blog yesterday.

Tentatively called as Nendoroid Takamachi Nanoha: The MOVIE 2nd A’s Edition, it looks like she will be wielding a different weapon compared to the Nendoroid Takamachi Nanoha: The MOVIE 1st version along with a movable joints to allow more dynamic action pose.
