Nendoroid Asama Tomo: Uniform version

Actually, we have already seen both of these Nendoroid from Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon (Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere) previously, but GSC has just posted them up today.

The first one is Nendoroid Asama Tomo, who will come in the limited edition of the PSP game Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon PORTABLE.

The large busted shrine maiden, joining the Nendoroids!
From ‘Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere PORTABLE’ comes a Nendoroid of the Asama Shrine’s only daughter, Tomo Asama, wearing her uniform!

She will be released along with the game on February 2013, priced at 10479 Yen.

Nendoroid Horizon Ariadust: Uniform version

Meanwhile, Nendoroid Horizon Ariadust: Uniform version also gets her own official page at GSC website.

Horizon is joining the Nendoroid series!!
The Nendoroid series follows the keywords ‘Cute to look at, fun to play with and great to collect’, and from the series Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere comes a figure of Horizon Ariadust to join that series!

You can pose her in a number of popular scenes including the popular singing scene from the beginning of the anime series, or the scene where she makes use of the Mortal Sin Armament: Lype Katathlipse. It’s a Nendoroid that fans won’t want to miss out on!

She will be a Dengeki-exclusive product, scheduled for March 2013 release, and priced at 3800 Yen. Sadly, her pre-order period has ended last month, so you have to find another way to order her if you are interested.

Is This Nendoroid’s New Faceplate System?

New faceplate system?

One thing I like the most about Nendoroid is their interchangability. Swap a Nendoroid’s face with other Nendoroid’s face, give her another Nendoroid’s body, and ta-da! You have created a brand new Nendoroid of your own! There are just so many kinds of combinations enough to make Nendoroids so much fun to play with. Here is an example: Totori with Sena’s faceplate that gives her another level of cuteness IMHO. XD

Totori + Sena

Well, the “faceplate” might be taken out of this feature in the future, as GSC has just showed their plan to change the faceplate model for the future Nendoroid in their Nico Nico broadcast earlier.

It seems that the new system are proposed in order to minimize the cases of broken neck joints (and to save cost, perhaps). The new system incorporates the neck as part of the Nendoroid’s body. Sadly, backward compatibility with older Nendoroids have not been discussed yet – this is my main concern, so I do hope GSC give it a deep thought before they implement the new system into future Nendoroids.

So what do you think about it, Nendonesian? Are you okay with the new system or against it for some reason?

More Photos of Nendoroid Shinonono Houki are Spotted

Nendoroid Shinonono Houki, along with Nendoroid Hatsune Miku 2.0 and Nendoroid Rin + Wooser, are the only Nendoroids that already got completed paint job when they were displayed during GSC’s Nico Nico broadcast earlier.

As one of the main heroines in Infinite Stratos, it seems that GSC liked to spend more time featuring Houki, as they displayed more official photos of her in the broadcast.

Nendoroid Alice is Previewed by Mikatan

Nendoroid Alice

The cute lolita Nendoroid Alice from an online mahjong game titled Momoiro Taisen Pairon, has been available for pre-order since earlier today, and now she is getting the preview treatment by Mikatan.

I can see that her design is based on the famous Alice in Wonderland series, but to see such a lovely blond curl is simply too cute! Not to mention that she also comes with some pretty interesting stuff: her bunny pouch, a rabbit staff, mahjong tiles, and a chair.

Head directly to Mikatan’s blog to view more close-up pics of this lovely lady.
