Nendoroid Strength Previewed by Mikatan

Nendoroid Strength

Nendoroid Strength

The 4th Nendoroid from Black Rock Shooter series: Nendoroid Strength (a.k.a STR) is getting a preview photo session treatment by Mikatan. Two expressions, a pair of “Ogre Arms” (with joints on elbows and fingers), and some usual optional body parts. Super cool, cute, and nicely done, but I have one concern: why does the symbol in her stand base is a “star” instead of “fist“? ^^;

In any case, kindly visit Mikatan’s blog to view the full gallery on this cute fighter. Oh, don’t forget that her pre-order would be available starting March 31. ^^

Mikatan Shows How to Repair Stand Joint

Broken stand joint

Broken stand joint

After covering neck/head joint repair, the latest part of Mikatan’s DIY figure repair articles discusses an in-depth guide about repairing a loose stand joint (or reinforcing joint in Mikatan’s term). The stand joint in this case is the one used on some newer Nendoroid such as Nendoroid Saber: Super Movable Edition and Nendoroid Sherlock Shellingford. Looking at the required items and tools, the repair process does not seem to be hard to be done by ourselves. In any case, visit Mikatan’s blog for the full guide. ^^

Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Cheering version

Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Cheering version

UPDATE: “Cheering version” has been changed to “Support version” to reflect on Mikatan’s English blog post

Mikatan has just posted an announcement regarding a special version of Nendoroid Hatsune Miku, made to support/cheer the victim of recent tsunami-earthquake disaster in Japan. Yes, GSC has teamed up with Crypton to create Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Support version, in which part of its sales would be donated to the Red Cross.

Aside from the parts of the original one, Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Support version would have a few new accessories (pom pom and a note-flag) to play with, as well as a happy smile expression. It looks like she is saying “Ganbatte ne, minna-san! You are not alone!”. ^^

More pics and availability info after the break.
