Puella Magi Madoka Magica‘s Nendoroid Tomoe Mami was released on December 26th, as mentioned in the schedule. The Japanese folks who have gotten their hands on her as the last Nendoroid released for 2011, did not waste any time to take photos of her in various scenes. Jump past the break to view them. ^^

Nendonesia’s Best Nendoroid for 2011
We are reaching toward the end of 2011 and the beginning of 2012 in a few days. Similar to last year, we are going to conduct a poll to decide which Nendoroid is considered the best among all for this year. For refresher, last year’s champion is Nendoroid Black Rock Shooter.
So who is going to claim the top podium for 2011? Time to cast your vote, Nendonesian. ^^
Nendoroid Akechi Kokoro and Cordelia Glauca is Spotted
Correction: Sorry for the confusion – the correct name is Akechi Kokoro, not Akechi Homura. XD
After being announced a few weeks ago, the prototype of Nendoroid Akechi Kokoro is finally displayed. FYI, she is going to be included in the limited edition of PSP game Tantei Opera Milky Holmes 2, which has 2 versions: non-1.5 (9800 Yen) and 1.5 (13800 Yen). The game is scheduled for late August 2012 release. I cannot wait to see her full-painted version. XD
Meanwhile, the 4th member of the detective team is getting a spotlight here. Yep, it seems that Nendoroid Cordelia Clauca is set to join her partners soon. With her finally being fully-painted there, I guess her official announcement should be posted shortly. ^^

New Nendoroid are Displayed at Comiket 81 (Update: Kokoro, Cordelia, Sasara)
Well, what do we have here? Some prototypes and design of upcoming Nendoroid are being shown today at the Comiket 81. First, we got Nendoroid Takakura Himari Princess of the Crystal from the famous anime series Mawaru Penguindrum – I have been expecting it for a while XD I am glad that GSC choose this over Takakura Himari on her normal outfit. ^^ *adding her into my watchlist*
Nendoroid Petit Witch Metallica is Spotted
As promised, the prototype of Nendoroid Witch Metallica (Majo Metarica) is displayed at Nippon Ichi‘s booth at the Akihabara DenkiGai Festival earlier today. In my opinion, the Petit design looks pretty nice … and hey, I thought it was a full-sized Nendoroid for a moment there. XD
This bad-ass looking Petit is going to be included in the limited edition of upcoming PS3 RPG from Nippon Ichi titled The Witch and the Hundred Soldiers. The set is priced at 10290 Yen and scheduled for a vague Spring 2012 release.
Well, what do you think, Nendonesian?

Mikatan Shows New Design and Features of Official Nendoroid Site
Mikatan’s blog post for today is about the revamped official Nendoroid site. She highlights the new design and features of the site. If you feel curious enough, kindly visit to Mikatan’s blog for a quick tour, or go to the Nendoroid site directly to see and try it on your own. ^^
Anyway, apart from the improved search functions – which I have not tried yet due to my lack of Japanese skill – the catalog page is also updated with an additional features. The cool thing is when we mouse over the part names, the little thumbnail beside it will change to show you that particular part. Well, Mikatan mentioned that the feature was already present in the old site, but I don’t think I have seen this feature previously – perhaps I overlooked it? XD
Well, what do you think about the new site design and features of the official Nendoroid site, Nendonesian? ^^

Nendoroid Petit Hatsune Miku Cheerful Contest version is Announced
Do you remember Cheerful JAPAN x pixiv contest which ended a few months ago? Yep, the winning illustration has been realized in the form of a Nendoroid Petit.
Officially dubbed as Nendoroid Petit Hatsune Miku: Cheerful JAPAN feat. Hatsune Miku Contest version (wow that was a lengthy name! XD), this adorable Petit is featuring Miku jumping in mid-air carrying a pair of pompoms. I kinda like her hairstyle there, as well as her unique pose – never seen in a Petit previously, as far as I know. ^^
This Nendoroid Petit will come bundled with Quarterly Pixiv vol.8, which is priced at 1680 Yen and scheduled to be released on March 9th – yes, it is also known as Miku Day. The pre-order should be available shortly, so you should keep your eyes peeled checking your favorite hobby retailers. ^^
Any thoughts, Nendonesian? ^^
