Nendoroid Mikazuki Yozora

The first Nendoroid from novel/anime/game Boku wa Tomodachi ga Tsukunai has been announced officially by Mikatan. Previously, Nendoroid Mikazuki Yozora was seen at the latest WonFes and last week’s Comiket 80, and today she got a preview photo session by the official blogger of GSC.

Another schoolgirl, you said? Well, while that might be true, but she brings along a plenty of body parts and accessories (including PSP), apart from the three expressions. I won’t comment regarding her resemblance to K-ON’s Akiyama Mio though. ^^;

Anyway, she is going to be available on GSC site tomorrow – and that means her pre-order will also available tomorrow. Are you getting her, Nendonesian?

Aside from Nendoroid Rin and Len: Cheerful version that has been available for pre-order since last week, it seems that Cheerful JAPAN project has another plan for another new figure to be part of the project. This time, GSC teams up with pixiv to hold Cheerful JAPAN feat. Hatsune Miku Illustration Contest. What is that?

Nendoroid Sena’s Prototype from Haganai and Touwa Erio’s 2nd Expression Spotted

Nendoroid being displayd at Comiket 80

Nendoroid being displayd at Comiket 80

GSC showcased a few upcoming Nendoroid and Petit at their Comiket 80’s booth. From the upper-left side, you can see Nendoroid Petit Kikuchi Makoto and Amami Haruka from iDOLM@STER 2. To the right is Nendoroid Touwa Erio from Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko, which was shown with her 2nd expression there – smiling gently while looking to the left (from her perspective). ^^

Last but not least, is a pair of Nendoroid from Boku wa Tomodachi ga Tsukunai. Nendoroid Mikazuki Yozora (left) had been displayed at the WonFes, so she is nothing new – I won’t debate about her resemblance to K-ON’s Nendoroid Akiyama Mio there. Beside Yozora is the uncolored Nendoroid Kashiwazaki Sena, which only had her Nendoroid design displayed previously. Yozora and Sena is scheduled for December 2011 and January 2012 release respectively.

The custom declaration

The custom declaration

I received a call from the local post office this afternoon, and they said that a package from HongKong had arrived. They asked me to complete the custom duties and import taxes there before taking the package. I went there to take care of the administration …. and here it is:

Boxes of Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Support version

Yep, Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Support version that I have pre-ordered, has arrived today, not 2 months as predicted previously. (^o^)/ Anyway, it seems that Zatsune Miku wants to try the pompom …

Apparently, the saga is not over yet, as we have received report regarding the delay for international shipping of Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Support version. The international version of Miku Support was originally released early last month, and with EMS delivery, the package should have arrived on late July at the latest. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen as expected.

Nendonesia Photo Contest #2 – The Finalists

A collage of Nendonesia PhotoCon #2's entries

A collage of Nendonesia PhotoCon #2's entries

Firstly we would like to apologize for the delay of the Nendonesia PhotoCon #2‘s finalists announcement. It was initially planned for Monday, and then got pushed into Wednesday (or Thursday on GMT+7).

Well then, the top 10 entries have been chosen out of 77 participating photo entries in the Qualifying Round. For any of you whose entries did not make it into the Final Round … well, don’t let it make you down. You may participate again in our next photocon. ^^

In any case, kindly scroll past the break to view Top 10 Finalists of Nendonesia PhotoCon #2. ^^

Update: Comment section is closed for some reason.
Anyway, for you who feel that some entries do not appear to qualify as finalists, well, we could only say that the photo theme and concept weights much more than technical aspects of the entries. The reason behind this score weighting is related to the camera – which is a mere mobile phone camera, not a full fledged DSLR. That’s it! ^^

Nendoroid Kagamine Rin and Len Cheerful version are Announced (Updated)

Nendoroid Kagamine Len and Rin Support version

Nendoroid Kagamine Len and Rin Support version

So you have been waiting for the re-sale of Nendoroid Kagamine Rin and/or Len? Well, how about a Cheerful version of those Vocaloid twins, coming with additional parts and accessories? Yep, it is a rare treat!! ^^

Yep, that is what Mikatan posted today – Nendoroid Kagamine Rin: Cheerful version and Nendoroid Kagamine Len: Cheerful version are slated for December 2011 release (for Japanese) or January 2012 (for International order) with a price tag of 3000 Yen. They are coming along with new parts and accessories, including flags, whistle, megaphone, and pompom.

Apart from the Cheerful Japan extras, there are other differences as well: this version of Rin and Len will use a plug-in stand a la Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Support version … and there will be a slight tweak on both Rin and Len’s head to allow them to use expressions from other Nendoroid, unlike the old one. ^^

Anyway visit Mikatan’s blog to view more pics of this adorable Vocaloid duo, and prepare to secure the pre-order on August 11 ~ 29. ^^
