Nendoroid Cirno Preview by Mikatan

Nendoroid Cirno and Snow Miku SPE

First seen at Winter WonFes 2011, and then Mikatan snapped a photo of her back last week, thus we can safely assume that Nendoroid Cirno is going to be previewed soon. Well, here she is: the latest Nendoroid rendition of the popular ice fairy from Touhou Project got a preview photo session treatment by Mikatan.

Aside from her cute 3 expressions and beautiful crystal-like wings, she also brings along some interesting stuff, such as her ice sword, a giant frog and a frozen frog. Her expressions could also be swapped with other Nendoroid as usual, so you could create any interesting scene with her. ^^

Anyway, availability information about Nendoroid Cirno would be announced on March 10. Meanwhile, check out Mikatan’s blog for more drooling gallery of the cute ice fairy. ^^

Goods from GSC being sold at MikuPa

This year’s MikuPa is going to be held tomorrow, March 9, 2011 and you might have known that GSC will support this event as well, by selling their Vocaloid-related goods there. Well, the pic you see above is taken from GSC’s booth at MikuPa. You can see that they have Nendoroid KAITO, Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka, and the newly-released Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Absolute HMO Edition on sale there as well as some Nendoroid Petit from Vocaloid set, scaled figures, plushies, and other goods there.

Now … where is Nendoroid Plus Hatsune Miku: Spring version? Why Nendoroid Kagamine Rin and Len are not present in the booth? ^^;

OK, before we get into the review, allow me to explain what this “Special Review” is all about. A special review is a review which is created either by request, occassional condition, or used for unusual purposes, including reviews written by guest authors.

Regarding our first special review here for Nendoroid Snow Miku: Snow Playtime Edition (Tanoshii Yukiasobi Edition), it is requested personally by Stephen A.Q. He asked me to take photos and review his newly arrived snow fairy, because he couldn’t wait to unbox it and wanted to “record” the unboxing moment in a form of a review – I know he did have other purposes for this as well. (￣▽￣)

So you have been waiting for Nendoroid Petit from the manga/anime series Fractale? Well, it seems that your wait would be over soon, as GSC has started getting some production samples of the cute Nendoroid Petit Nessa. According to the official release schedule, the limited Blu-ray bundle would be released on late April with a price tag of 5800 Yen. Nendoroid Petit K-ON! Set: TBSishop & Lawson Limited Edition

The production samples of Nendoroid Petit K-ON! Set: TBSishop & Lawson Limited Edition has started to get shipped to GSC office as well. Yep, these Petit trio of Akiyama Mio, Hirasawa Yui, and Nakano Azusa would bring along a base which looks like their club room’s floor tiles. The official release schedule for this Petit set is April 14, with an official price tag of 2100 Yen. More information about this Petit K-ON! set can be seen on this post and this post. ^^

For Nendoroid lovers, mixing-and-matching (a.k.a swapping) Nendoroid expressions and body parts is really fun, right? Well, in this Nendoroid Mix-Match Party article, we are going to feature several interesting mix-matches (plus recipes, if needed) for you. It is still unknown whether we are going to have this article posted weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Hopefully we can post it periodically though. ^^

Anyway, this post is inspired by DIY Nendoroid Mato and Yomi article which is posted a few months ago. Based on that post, we know that we can create our own version of Nendoroid Kuroi Mato and Takanashi Yomi simply by swapping several body and expressions of certain Nendoroid. Really creative!! ^^

Well well well … what is this? A glorious view of Nendoroid Cirno‘s back? Plus, she is already completely painted. Now, I cannot wait to see how she looks like from the front, and how her other expressions and accessories looks like as well. Now, stop teasing us, Mikatan! ^^

Nendoroid Makise Kurisu: White Coat version

It might be a little weird, but I actually had Nendoroid Makise Kurisu: White Coat version (released at WonFes on early February) arrived on my desk and I am still waiting for the normal Nendoroid Makise Kurisu (released on late January). Well, that is not a problem for me though, because both version of Makise Kurisu are equally cute. ^^

Anyway, let’s have a brief introduction for Makise Kurisu. She is the main heroine of Steins;Gate, a visual novel game released for Xbox 360 (2009) and PC (2010). She is an extremely talented neuroscience researcher and it is proved with her being able to have her research published in the science academic journal at the young age of 18. Whoa … she is really smart, isn’t she? Plus, she is actually a tsundere as well … what a perfect combination! ^^

Well then, without further ado, let’s get on the actual review of Nendoroid Makise Kurisu: White Coat version. ^^
