Berserker is Included in Petit Fate/Stay Night Extension Set; Nendoroid Gumako’s Container Revealed

Nendoroid Petit Fate/Stay Night Extension Set

Nendoroid Petit Fate/Stay Night Extension Set

GSC has officially confirmed that Berserker will be joining Saber Alter, Archer, Lancer, and Caster in the Nendoroid Petit Fate/Stay Night Extension Set. Yes, that would make him the largest Petit ever – and we mistook him for being a regular-sized Nendoroid due to his size. In any case, this set will be released on October 2011 with a price tag of 4800 Yen.

Supposedly the container for Nendoroid Gumako: Support version?

Meanwhile, a staff of GSC has posted a pic of the container for Nendoroid Gumako: Support version. Nothing special there, except for the stand base that being placed on the bottom-right corner instead of the usual bottom-center placement. ^^

(Thanks for the news tip, Clerericus! ^^)

Nendoroid Petit Fate/Stay Night Extension Set is Previewed by Mikatan

Nendoroid Petit Fate/Stay Night Extension Set

Nendoroid Petit Fate/Stay Night Extension Set

This Petit set was displayed on GSC’s live NicoNicoDouga broadcast yesterday, and today Mikatan has announced it officially – and previewed them, as usual. Dubbed as Nendoroid Petit Fate/Stay Night Extension Set, it will contain Nendoroid Petit Saber Alter, Archer, Lancer, and Caster. Saber Alter’s visor is removable, Caster has a second head without the robe, while Archer has two kind of weapons: a pair of blades and bow.

How about Berserker? It seems that he will not be part of this Petit set and will be released as a regular Nendoroid. UPDATE: Berserker is included in the set.

Well then, kindly visit Mikatan’s blog for the extensive set of pics from these adorable (and scary – Berserker ^^;) characters from Fate/Stay Night. Oh, and one more thing: the pre-order will be available starting June 27. ^^

Nendoroid Petit Saber Alter, Archer, Lancer, and Caster Spotted

Nendoroid and Petit from Fate/Stay Night

Nendoroid and Petit from Fate/Stay Night

Nendoroid Berserker is now completely painted, but he is not the main news today as Nendoroid Petit Saber Alter, Archer, Lancer, and Caster are the one in the spotlight in the latest GSC’s NicoNicoDouga live broadcast. IMHO, they are all looking really cool … and somehow cute at the same time. ^^

Anyway, although there are no further info about them yet, I guess GSC would pack the Petits into a set – probably as Nendoroid Petit Fate/Stay Night set vol.2?

Now … when will you make the regular-sized Nendoroid of those characters, GSC? ^^

Another Nendoroid from Fate/Stay Night is being produced – this time is Nendoroid Berserker‘s turn to be made into the super-deformed figure. Put Nendoroid Berserker along with Nendoroid Petit Illyasviel von Einzbern (a.k.a Illya) to create the scene from the game/anime. ^^

Now … let us know when you are going to release Nendoroid Saber: Casual Clothes version, GSC. ^^;

Nendoroid 121: Saber (Super Movable Edition)

Nendoroid Saber: Super Movable Edition

Nendoroid Saber: Super Movable Edition

Note: This review will be a lengthy one, because I have a lot of things to be written about this Nendoroid, not to mention some “technical” issues that I faced during the reviewing process. ^^

I know that Nendoroid Saber: Super Movable Edition has been released for a while and most of you might have played around with her. Actually I just got mine back then in mid December due to some shipping delay. Anyway, this is my second Saber figurine – the first being Nendoroid Saber Lion and somehow I overlooked Nendoroid Saber Lily. ^^;

As her product name suggested, Nendoroid Saber: Super Movable Edition a.k.a Saber FA (full action) is the first regular-sized Nendoroid (Petit Hachune Miku is the first super movable Nendoroid) who has extraordinary joints and body structures which (supposedly) features more articulation flexibility.

OK, enough with the introduction; let’s get directly to the in-depth review after the break. ^^

EDIT: Wrong numbering fixed (Thanks, Monchan!)

My favorite photo submission

My favorite photo submission

The winners for Nendoroid Saber Super Movable photo contest have been announced at Mikatan’s blog. If you were participating in the contest, you can see whether you made it to the list or not. The photo above is my favorite entry – Saber’s expression looks epic in that scene. ^^

For the rest of the winners’ photo submission, please visit Mikatan’s blog. Too bad that most Nendonesian who lives in Indonesia could not take part due to late shipping of this Saber. ^^;

Nendoroid Saber: Super Movable Edition is Released!

Nendoroid Saber Super Movable Edition

Nendoroid Saber Super Movable Edition

The first super-movable Nendoroid ever: Nendoroid Saber: Super Movable Edition has been released in Japan as of today. So, what’s so special about her? Well, of course it’s her joints. Unlike other previous Nendoroid, this super movable Saber has joints on her elbows and ankles – reminds me of Nendoroid Petit Hachune Miku. This Saber also brings along some of her swords and the sheaths – which looks to be very well sculpted.

Aside from her usual photo session, GSC staff Mikatan also held a small photo competition to celebrate this super-movable Nendoroid’s release. Here’s the details:

How to apply:

  1. Create an awesome pose for Nendoroid Saber: Super Movable Edition.
  2. Take some photos of it – mobile phone camera shoots are also accepted.
  3. Send it to mikatan-s@goodsmile.jp with the subject/title: “セイバーで遊んでみたお” along with your name and comment in the e-mail body.

Guidelines:

  1. The most important factor is the POSE. Image quality doesn’t matter.
  2. You are allowed to use expression from any characters.
  3. Feel free to use other little items, but focus on the posing.

Mikatan, along with her Takanon and Ota-P will choose several winners from the submitted photos. The photos will be displayed in the blog and the winners will receive a small gift from Mikatan.

Enjoy Mikatan’s photos and read more details about the competition in her blog post here. Ready to pose your Saber, Nendonesians? ^^

  • The submission deadline is November 7th midnight (UTC+9).
