Mikupa 2011 Banner
Apparently GSC would bring some Nendoroid from VOCALOID to be sold at the upcoming Mikupa. Yes, Nendoroid Hatsune Miku, Nendoroid Megurine Luka, Nendoroid KAITO, Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Absolute HMO Edition and some Nendoroid Petit VOCALOID would be on sale there. Some other goodies from GSC would also be available there, such as Miku silhouette strap, Tako Luka charm, and Toeto charm. Full listing is available after the break.
Nendoroid 97: Snow Miku
Note: I will be using the word “snow” and “yuki” a lot for this review. ^^
To celebrate the recently-released Nendoroid Snow Miku: Snow Playtime Edition, I have written a special review of the original Nendoroid Snow Miku. Actually, Nendoroid Snow Miku was released to commemorate the Snow Miku sculpture on last year’s 61st Sapporo Snow Festival – yes, in similar fashion as the upcoming Snow Playtime Edition. ^^

Snow Miku sculptures
Sapporo Snow Festival is a popular annual festival, where thousands of snow statues and ice sculptures are built and displayed at various sites in Sapporo. This year, some Hatsune Miku sculptures as well as some frozen Nendoroid Snow Miku are found in several area. See the pics after the break.

So you have not made up your mind to pre-order Nendoroid Snow Miku: Snow Playtime Edition? Well, now you have another reason to consider pre-ordering her, thanks to Mikatan who has just posted her experiment result of making Nendoroid Hatsune Miku with the bundled ice tray. Apparently, it does not play well with normal water (ice) as we could not see Miku’s shape clearly that way. However, experimenting with other ingredients such as coffee jelly and chocolate turned out to have a better result. See Mikatan’s blog post for more details and pics. ^^

Boxes of Nendoroid Hatsune Miku HMO and Mickey Mouse (and Hirasawa Ui)
The long awaited Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Absolute HMO Edition and Nendoroid Mickey Mouse (Nendoroid #100) finally hit the store shelves! Yep, both of them have been officially released by GSC since today (or yesterday?), so you should be getting your pre-order bills for these two soon. (Fortunately, Mickey-san does not get delayed any further ^^)
Don’t you feel anxious to wait for them, Nendonesian? ^^

Rejoice, Hatsune Miku and Vocaloid fans! Mikatan has posted a preview of Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Absolute HMO Edition, which means …. yes, she would be on sale starting tomorrow in Japanese stores. Mikatan also shared a few tidbits, such as included face decals for Nendoroid Kagamine Rin and Len. ^^

Nendoroid Hirasawa Ui
Hirasawa Yui can finally meet her younger sister in Nendoroid form. Yep, Nendoroid Hirasawa Ui gets a preview treatment from Mikatan today. You could see various expression of her as well as her facexchange with the new Nendoroid Snow Miku: Snow Playtime Edition at Mikatan’s blog post. ^^

Nendoroid Plus Hatsune Miku: Spring Version
In order to celebrate MikuPa – Hatsune Miku Live Party (concert) which will be held on March 9, 2011, GSC is going to release Nendoroid Plus Hatsune Miku: Spring Version (or also known as Sakura Miku). This cute little spring fairy is only 35mm tall and can be used as a charm. According to the official page, it looks like she would be given away as concert attendants prize.
In any case, for us who live outside Japan, our best bet to get her is try browsing for her on Yahoo Auction Japan … or eBay. ( ╥ ﹏╥)

I know, we are still struggling to find a channel to pre-order this adorable snow fairy … and to put it even worse, Mikatan has just posted a preview article of this highly-anticipated Nendoroid Snow Miku: Snow Playtime Edition. Apparently, the Hachune-face snowman is a Petit, so its parts are interchangable with other Petits as well. Visit Mikatan’s blog and prepare yourself for an overload of super-moe gallery. ヽ(´▽`)/

Prototype of Nendoroid Hatsune Miku HMO?
Note: Feel free to skip this post, as it is simply a flashback-post which crossed my mind just now. ^^
I remembered back then, when these pics of Nendoroid Hatsune Miku (HMO/Pawlab Studio Edition) leaked just a few days prior to Summer WonFes 2010. Is this one a fan-made Nendoroid or merely a prototype to the upcoming Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Absolute HMO Edition? Personally, I see that cute Miku-chan really deserves to be an original release, thus I secretly hope to see her making an appearance in the upcoming Winter Wonfes 2011.
