I hope you don’t get bored with Ika Musume-related stuff, because there is yet another custom Nendoroid Ika Musume pics popped up in a Japanese forum. Well, although her design looks good in general, the pattern on her skirt is drawn with a marker that looks somehow … bad (for me, personally ^^). See more pics of her after the break. ^^
Nendoroid Ika Musume?
Ika Musume’s invasion is not over yet! Another photo of Nendoroid Ika Musume just popped up in one of Max Factory‘s blog. Whoa … it sure looks more legit now, doesn’t it? Yep, it seems that Max Factory are holding a custom-figure competition (internal contest?) and the finalist are announced in the post.
Now … are we going to see Ika Musume soon – supposedly at WonFes? Well, sit back, relax, and wait patiently for early February, shall we? ^^

Custom Nendoroid Ika Musume
Well, it seems that there are a lot of attempts from Ika Musume fans to create Nendoroid version of this cute squid girl. And here is another custom Nendoroid Ika Musume made by a fan named seaman_aki. Yep, it is still unfinished, but IMHO the sculpting looks pretty good. More “development” pics after the break. ^^
Partially colored Nendoroid Ika Musume
Fresh from Yukiwo Ageta’s tweet earlier – Nendoroid Ika Musume‘s hair is already shaped and colored, while her body parts are scattered on the table. Anyway, why are there two Ika Musume bodies? No clue yet, but one thing for sure: Nendoroid Ika Musume is progressing quickly and we should see an official announcement real soon – hopefully. ^^

I were really busy (read: family time ^^) these recent days that I forgot to check my Twitter on Christmas Day. Yep, this news should be posted two days ago …. but anyway, here are some more photos on Nendoroid Ika Musume prototype celebrating her first Christmas with Mr. Santa as tweeted by Yukiwo Ageta. ^^
New expression from Nendoroid Ika Musume prototype
Whoa!! Is that a new expression (face plate) for Nendoroid Ika Musume? Somehow it seems similar to one of Nendoroid Takane Manaka‘s expression. ^^
Hopefully Nendoroid Ika Musume would be announced officially real soon – probably within the first few days of the new year? ^^
Nendoroid Ika Musume prototype
OK, the title might be a little misleading – this is a pre-prototype of Nendoroid Ika Musume, since I assumed that prototype Nendoroid should not be this “rough”. ^^; Anyway, Yukiwo Ageta tweeted another shot of Nendoroid Ika Musume, updated with her tentacle hair. Yep, it is still far from perfect, but at least it shows you that it is no longer a mere dream – it is getting into reality soon … hopefully. ^^

Prototype of Nendoroid Ika Musume?
A few days ago, Nendoroid Ika Musume design is merely a sketch on a piece of paper … but in Yukiwo Ageta’s tweet today, she looks more like a prototype Nendoroid! Whoa … would the squid girl from Shinryaku! Ika Musume finally get her own Nendoroid figurine? Let’s just wait patiently for further info from GSC (and Yukiwo Ageta for that matters) ^^

Nendoroid Ika Musume (customized?)
So you have been waiting for Ika Musume to be made into Nendoroid? Here is a (supposedly) good news for you: Yukiwo Ageta, my fave Nendoroid sculptor/designer, has just tweeted a picture of some rough draft of Nendoroid Ika Musume. Yep, he had only sculpted Ika Musume’s head roughly and used Nendoroid Al-Azif‘s body there, but it should be enough for us to grasp a general picture of Nendoroid Ika Musume, right? ^^
