The Wandering Fay: Nendoroid Fanbook project is an independent initiative suggested by pus2meong back then on 2011. This project basically aims to create a community-contributed photo book containing wonderful Nendoroid photos by fans of Nendoroid.
Initially, the project was only available to Nendoroid fans who live in Indonesia, but it has recently open to international fans as well.

Surabaya Advanced Toys (SAT) 1st Gathering was held on March 31 at East Coast Center, Pakuwon City, Surabaya. The gathering was actually a joint of several figure/toys communities in Surabaya – and Nendonesia is also a part of it.
The main purpose of this event is to let each communinty’s members get to know each other and show the society that Surabaya’s toys communities are alive and kicking. XD
Well, enough with the introductory words, let’s get straight to the (photo) report, shall we?

Surabaya Advanced Toys (SAT) was launched a few months ago, when we also did a special gathering there.
Apparently, the 2nd SAT gathering is going to be held this weekend at Multi Toys Fair 2012. This time, there will also be an interesting game with interesting prize there for the gathering participants.
The scheduled programmes:
The gathering will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Multi Toy Fair 2012 (in front of the stage), located at Grand City Surabaya.
Note that participants need to bring at least one toy/figure to the gathering. Yes, simply bring your Nendoroid and/or Petit there, Nendonesian. XD

Nendonesia wallpaper on PSP
I got bored yesterday, so I decided to tinker around with my previous photos, in order to create some wallpapers out of them. XD
Well, for starter, I use one of my photos from my recent Singapore trip and I made it into a set containing wallpapers with various resolutions.
These are the wallpaper resolutions that I used:
Actually, I have not tested the PS Vita version yet, because I do not own the portable gaming device. I simply made it out by some tutorials I found on the net. If you have any chance to test it on Vita, kindly let me know how it goes, okay? ^^

New blog layout
Firstly, we would like to say HAPPY EASTER! Yes, it is a bit late, but considering what we had gone through on the weekend, we hope you forgive us for the late greeting. XD
Anyway, this recent weekend was one of our most challenging week ever. The whole server went down due to some network attacks and the blog was not accessible at all. There were some huge news, tipped by both our readers and partners, but we could not post it to the blog due to the server problem.
Some of you might also remember about the “Site is Offline” problem and other issues happening to the blog recently. It happened just after we were using a Content Delivery Network (CDN) service provider to enhance the blog’s performance as well as caching stuff so that when the server got some hiccups, you would still be able to access the blog as usual. It turned out that the provider caused us more troubles rather than improvement.
Thankfully, the aforementioned problems were things in the past; we have migrated to another service provider which are famous for its reliability. Yep, in case you have not noticed yet, the blog is now proudly hosted by WordPress.com, one of the most popular and widely used blog service. Yay! ^^
We have also done a few tweaks under the hood as well as a small layout refresh. What do you think about the new theme, Nendonesian? XD
By the way, Nendonesia Forum has been enabled partially now. New user registration is still disabled until we find a way to prevent the automatic (bot) sign-ups. Registered (and logged-in) users can still access the forum as usual though – creating new threads, replying to posts, private-messaging, etc. Oh, and we temporarily change the forum address to: http://forum.animaster-talks.net until we finished setting up stuff. XD
Well then, we would like to thank you, Nendonesian, for always supporting us. ^^
Hobby Festival Surabaya 2012
For you who are lingering around Surabaya, Indonesia, well, there will be is a hobby event being held there. The event goes by the name Hobby Festival Surabaya 2012, which is going to start on …. today, March 11th until April 1st. Yep, the event is up everyday – from 10AM until 10PM – for more than 3 weeks long! Whoaa … XD
Anyway, this event is held on East Coast Center, Pakuwon City (Laguna). For you who are not familiar with the area, well, if you know Food Festival area, then East Coast Center is that mall just beside that area. ^^
Oh, and Nendonesia will also have a special gathering there on March 31st along with the figma community FIGMANIA and perhaps other figure and model kit communities as well. I will post further details when it becomes available later on, so for now, simply mark that date in your calendar, okay? ^^

We have been doing several local (Indonesia) meetups on 2010 and 2011 – in fact, there are one gathering in Surabaya (two weeks ago) and one in Jakarta (this Saturday!) held in this month.
That said, we have another gathering, this time it is dubbed “special gathering”, because we are invited to Bijac Festival, scheduled for February 11 at Binus International University, Jakarta, Indonesia.

As you can see in the final poll result, Touhou Project‘s Nendoroid Flandre Scarlet has been crowned as Nendonesia’s Nendoroid of the Year for 2011, beating the runner-up Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Absolute HMO Edition with quite some margin there. XD

We are already at the end of 2011. Yep, today is New Year’s Eve, where we usually gather up with our family for the last feast of the year, and preparing resolution for the next year (if any XD). Allow us to put a famous quote by Bill Vaughan:
“An optimist stays up until midnight to see the new year in. A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves.”
Well then, are we optimists or pessimists? XD
In any case, we would like to say HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012 to you all, Nendonesian! Thank you for your support to Nendonesia throughout 2011. Let’s have a lot of Nendo-fun again on 2012! ^^
