Design for Nendoroid Super Sonico: Tiger Parka version is Revealed!

Nendoroid Super Sonico: Tiger Parka version

Nendoroid Super Sonico: Tiger Parka version (design)

Well well well … what do we have here? NitroPlus‘ mascot Super Sonico is going to be made into Nendoroid?

Yep, it seems so, as the design for Nendoroid Super Sonico: Tiger Parka version was displayed in GSC’s latest NicoNico broadcast AND in her own official product page as well!

Here is what it says in the product page: (Google-Translated – may not be accurate)

Collaboration of Sonico and Nendoroid!
From the popular mascot of NitroPlus comes Nendoroid Super Sonico in Tiger Parka version. Obviously there are optional parts available, such as her favorite eletric guitar. As a musician, gravure model, and game character, she is really cute in Nendoroid form.

Nendoroid Super Sonico: Tiger Parka version is scheduled for October release with a price tag of 3500 Yen.

Pre-order will be available at GSC Online Shop starting today, April 28, 10:00 (JST) until May 31, 21:00 (JST). Unfortunately, it seems that the reservation will only be available for Japanese residents. XD

Apparently, this Nendoroid will be used as a test for GSC’s sculptors, as mentioned by Mikatan:

The topic at hand will be putting sculptors to the test …
Making a prototype in two days!!
Basically, the aim is to complete a prototype with painting on a nearly impossible schedule … and quite a few sculptors have risen to the challenge!!

You can see further info about the test in Mikatan’s blog.

Well, what do you think, Nendonesian? ^^

The very first Nendoroid album fulled with the lovable Nendoroids produced by Good Smile Company is going on sale soon! This Nendoroid of Saber in her casual clothes is included as an extra to those who buy the book!

Nendoroid Saber Casual will be manufactured by Hobby JAPAN, scheduled for late May release, and priced at 5000 Yen for the whole bundle with Nendoroid Album (a.k.a Nendoroid Complete File book).

Custom Nendoroid Racing Luka: 2010 version

Nendoroid Racing Luka: 2010 version

Nendoroid Racing Luka: 2010 version

Since I saw Nendoroid Petit Racing Luka: 2010 version from the Racing Petit set back then on 2010, I have been dreaming to see Racing Luka in a regular-sized Nendoroid.

Well, it seems that someone is also thinking about the same thing, so there we have it: a custom Nendoroid Racing Luka: 2010 version. I guess her body is modified with Nendoroid Racing Miku: 2010 version as the base design. Apart from the pink-themed outfit, it seems Luka’s headset has also been modified to match the Petit design.

Not a major customization, I know, but she still looks great, doesn’t she? What do you think, Nendonesian? XD

(Thanks for the news tip, Ryan Cheang!)
