Nendoroid Petit and Mini 4WD Collaboration Project is Announced

Note: This news is a week old, but I guess it is better to post it late rather than never, right? XD

In order to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Tamiya’s 4WD, GSC has teamed up with Tamiya and Dengeki Hobby Magazine to create a special joint product known as Nendoroid Petit x Mini 4WD. The collaboration project was announced at 51st Shizuoka Hobby Show (May 17th – 18th).

The announced line-ups are:

Nendoroid Petit Racing Miku 2012 ver. x Astute Open Top
Fate/stay night’s Nendoroid Petit Saber x Super Saber Open Top
Toaru Kagaku no Railgun’s Nendoroid Petit Mikoto Misaka x Thundershot Open Top

Yep, as you can see in the pic above, the announced Nendoroid Petits will be riding their own special mini 4WD as mentioned in the list.

Nendoroid Info in Latest Hobby Magazine Scans (May 2012)

After Nendoroid Annelotte (Queen’s Blade Rebellion) went for pre-order last month, the usual “how will the 2P version look like?” thought crossed on my mind.

Thankfully, I don’t have to wait long, as Nendoroid Annelotte: Dark Knight version made her debut in this month’s Dengeki Hobby Magazine. Interestingly, she does not bear the 2P version remarks that have been the case with the previous alternative versions of Nendoroid from Queen’s Blade. XD

*ahem* I have to say that she looks really gorgeous with those red eyes, elven’s ears, and a glittering golden equipments. I’m totally sold, FREEing, good job! ^^

Anyway, it seems that she will be available as a limited and exclusive product, as usual, with a price of 3500 Yen. The evil-looking lady will be released sometimes this year.

Meanwhile, Phat Company‘s Nendoroid Gertrud Barkhorn from Strike Witches series gets another highlight in the magazine scan. This time, she brings along her Striker unit and shares a few new poses with us.

(Un)surprisingly, she is still uncolored, eventhough it is already more than a year since the first time we saw her. At least she got a release schedule, albeit a little vague: Autumn 2012. XD

Note: Oh, and while we’re at it, how are our Disgaea duo (Flonne and Etna) doing there, Phat-san? Hopefully you don’t plan to ~~cancel~~ ~~abandon~~ forget them, because some of us have been patiently waiting since you showed them to us last year. XD

GSC has just announced that the re-release of Touhou Project duo from Scarlet Devil Mansion: Nendoroid Izayoi Sakuya and Nendoroid Flandre Scarlet are available for pre-order starting yesterday.

Here is the updated description for Nendoroid Izayoi Sakuya:

The head maid of the Scarlet Devil Mansion is being rereleased!
The much anticipated rerelease of Sakuya Izayoi from the Touhou Project Nendoroid series is on its way!

Sakuya comes with three expression parts, a tea-set and a knife as extra parts, allowing you to pose her in a variety of different ways. Pose her working hard as a maid in the mansion, or instead pose her in battle, ready to throw her knives! It’s a Nendoroid that any Touhou Project fan is bound to enjoy!

While, the following is an updated description of Nendoroid Flandre Scarlet:

The little sister of the Scarlet Devil Mansion is being rereleased!
The much anticipated rerelease of Flandre Scarlet from the Touhou Project Nendoroid series is on its way!

She comes with three expressions including her standard expression, a childish, innocent smiling expression as well as the grinning expression that shows off her devious intentions to destroy everything around her. Her trademark wings are also included, shining with all the vibrant colors of the rainbow!

Display her with her elder sister Remilia, and recreate the sibling rivalry of the adorable Scarlet sisters!

Both of these Nendoroid will be available for pre-order at NicoNico Chokuhan, animate, GAMERS, and Tora no Ana for Japanese residents, while international customers can pre-order them at GSC Online Shop. The pre-order starts from May 20th, 12:00 until June 6th, 21:00. Note that the usual terms and conditions of GSC Online Shop apply. XD

Anyway, the re-release of these Nendoroid duo is scheduled for August.

Yep, Hakurei Shrine Reitaisai 9 is going to be held next week, specifically on May 27th at Tokyo Big Sight. As usual, GSC and Gift Kanegon will also participate in this annual Touhou-themed event by bringing some of their Touhou-related goodies to be put on sale at their booths.

EDITOR’S NOTE: I have conducted further research regarding this re-sale saga, and it seems I was partially mis-informed. Apparently, GSC mentioned that the resale will be the first wave of their 10th anniversary voting, hence it will still be possible for GSC to put Nendoroid Miyafuji Yoshika, Saber Lily, Saber Lion, Itoshiki Nozomu, or other Nendoroid inside the top 50 chart on re-sale. Yay! ^^

That said, I would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused by the post. I have modified this post to reflect on the changes.

GSC’s latest Nico Nico broadcast that was conducted yesterday revealed several stuff there, including some Nendoroid to be put on re-sale. As you can see in the pic above, it seems that the re-sale of Touhou Project duo Nendoroid Flandre Scarlet and Nendoroid Izayoi Sakuya has been approved by GSC.

Following up their previous announcement, GSC has just posted an update regarding the highest demand in the New Product Request section.

GSC Announced The Vote Result for Product Re-Sale Request

Final vote result for Nendoroid re-sale request

Did you remember about GSC’s product re-sale polling that was conducted as part of their 10th anniversary campaign? Yep, that particular voting had come to an end since May 1st, and fast-forward to today, it has been two weeks since then.

Apparently, GSC has just finished their recaps and the result has been announced, as you can see in the pic above or you can visit the source link. (Un)suprisingly, there are 7 variants of Nendoroid Hatsune Miku, including the original one (#33), managed to get into Top 20 in the final vote result. XD

Gather up, Miku fans! We have spotted another custom Nendoroid Hatsune Miku here, and this time it was inspired by a popular song from ryo/supercell.

“… hajimeru no yo kore wa sensou ureshisou na KIMI o miru nante!”

Do you recognize that lyric part? Yep, it is taken from Koi wa Sensou (a.k.a Love is War), hence we will take a glimpse at custom Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Love is War version.
